According to the Bible, Yehoshua hid a great secret in the Last Supper, which is the ceremony of washing feet and the bread and wine he gave to the disciples. According to the Bible, while having dinner with the disciples, Yehoshua washed their feet and shared bread and wine, saying that these are His flesh and blood.

Not understanding Yehoshua's actions, Peter refused to wash his feet. Then Yehoshua said, "You don't know now why I'm doing this now, but you will find out later." So, what are the secrets of the Last Supper? The secrets can be found in the words spoken by Yehoshua.

[Matthew 26:27~28] Jesus picked up a cup of wine and gave thanks to God. He then gave it to his disciples and said, "Take this and drink it. This is my blood, and with it God makes his agreement with you. It will be poured out, so that many people will have their sins forgiven.

Yehoshua gave the wine at the Last Supper and said this is my blood of the covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. The forgiveness of sins is related to the Old Testament sacrificial system, so to know the hidden secrets of the Last Supper, we need to understand the Old Testament sacrificial system.

If you look at the Old Testament sacrificial system, the temple was the place where sacrifices were made for the forgiveness of sins, and sacrifices were needed to make up for the sins of the people and the priests. If you look at the structure of the temple, there was an altar in the temple courtyard where burnt offerings were made, and the temple was divided into the holy of holies, where God was, and the common sanctuary. The holy of holies was called the holy of holies because it was holy, and the priests could enter the common sanctuary but not the holy of holies, and only the high priest could enter the holy of holies on the Day of Atonement, which was once a year.

Before entering the temple, the priests would wash their hands and feet at a watering hole in the temple courtyard. Afterward, an animal would be sacrificed and a burnt offering would be made by burning the animal's flesh. The ritual of forgiveness of sins was performed by sprinkling the blood of the sacrifice on the sanctuary. So when Joshua said, "This wine is my blood for the remission of sins for many," he was signaling the beginning of a new sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.

Also, just as the Old Testament priests washed their hands and feet in a water basin when they entered the temple, so the disciples, who had become priests of the heavenly temple, washed their feet before entering the heavenly sanctuary. Having the disciples drink the wine, which represented the blood of Yehoshua, fulfilled the Old Testament sanctuary ritual of sprinkling the blood of a sacrifice on the sanctuary. This shows that the bodies of the disciples who drank the wine, which represented the blood of Yehoshua, became the heavenly sanctuary. (Exodus 40:30-32) He then broke the bread, which represented the body of Yehoshua, and had the disciples eat it, because the Old Testament priests shared the meat of the sacrifices offered in the temple.

[Numbers 18:8~10] The LORD said to Aaron: I have put you in charge of the sacred gifts and sacrifices that the Israelites bring to me. And from now on, you, your sons, and your descendants will receive part of the sacrifices for sin, as well as part of the grain sacrifices, and the sacrifices to make things right. Your share of these sacrifices will be the parts not burned on the altar. Since these things are sacred, they must be eaten near the sacred tent, but only men are allowed to eat them.

Therefore, the bread that the disciples ate was the body of Joshua, who had been sacrificed. According to the book of Numbers, the disciples at the Last Supper ate something holy from the heavenly temple. If we look at the Old Testament law, the priests of the temple can only enter the common sanctuary and not the Holy of Holies. Only the high priest can enter the Holy of Holies. Therefore, Joshua, the high priest of the heavenly temple, entered the heavenly Holy of Holies through his resurrection and ascension.

[Hebrews 9:11~12] Christ came as the high priest of the good things that are now here. He also went into a much better tent that wasn't made by humans and that doesn't belong to this world. Then Christ went once for all into the most holy place and freed us from sin forever. He did this by offering his own blood instead of the blood of goats and bulls.

[Hebrews 6:19~20] This hope is like a firm and steady anchor for our souls. In fact, hope reaches behind the curtain and into the most holy place. Jesus has gone there ahead of us, and he is our high priest forever, just like Melchizedek

After His death on the cross, Yehoshua, who became the High Priest, ascended to the Most Holy through resurrection and ascension. And after he delivered all the sins of the people to Satan, he drove Satan out into the wilderness. The place where Satan was cast out of heaven is the earth where we live.

[Revelation 12:7~9] War broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels were fighting the dragon and its angels. But the dragon lost the war. It and its angels were cast out of their place in heaven, They were thrown to the ground. Yes, the old serpent and his angels were cast out of heaven! The serpent that deceives everyone on earth is known as the Devil, Satan.

Just as the priests went into the temple after washing their hands and feet in the temple on earth, Yehoshua washed the feet of his disciples to bring them into the temple in heaven. Therefore, the disciples became priests of the heavenly temple. The disciples drank wine. The wine symbolizes the blood of the sacrificial Jehoshua. Therefore, the disciples' bodies became a temple in heaven. Just as the blood of the sacrifice was poured into the temple in the Old Testament temple, drinking the wine provided by Yeshua who came as the substance of the sacrifice was an indication that the disciples' bodies had become the temple of heaven. In addition, the reason that the bread symbolizing the body of Yehoshua was eaten was because the priests of the Old Testament ate the meat of the sacrifices in the temple.

Therefore, the bread and wine eaten at the Last Supper are not a regular meal, but a sacrifice of the new covenant made in the heavenly temple. Just as physical Israel was established through the 12 tribes, spiritual Israel is also established through the 12 apostles representing the 12 tribes.

However, the Church of God does not know the secret of the Last Supper. They consider the Last Supper and the Passover to be the same day. The Last Supper was a ceremony held on the eve of the Passover, and you can find out more about it by clicking the link below.
