The Bible prophesied that Yehoshua would come again. It is prophesied that he will come again, just like the way Joshua went up. The Bible testifies that when Yehoshua comes again, the one who pierced Yehoshua will also see Yehoshua.

[Acts 1:11] "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

[Revelation 1:7] "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Because of these prophecies in the Bible, Protestants are waiting for God to come in the clouds. However, the Church of God interprets the cloud as a human body and believes that Ahnsahnghong and Jang Gilja are God who came on the cloud. So what does it mean to come on the clouds? In order to understand the part of the coming in the cloud and the part of the Second Coming of Yehoshua, we need to study the prophecies of the two witnesses. The Bible testifies of the two witnesses:

[Revelation 11:11~12] But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

The two witnesses who received Joshua's Holy Spirit were killed fighting the false church and were resurrected three and a half days later. They were then taken up into heaven. However, the Bible records their resurrection and ascension metaphorically as being taken up into heaven in a cloud. So the picture of Joshua coming in a cloud is not an actual cloud. Daniel 7 prophesied that someone like the Son of Man would be taken to God on the clouds of heaven. However, this is a metaphorical picture of Joshua's ascension into heaven after his resurrection.

Yehoshua ascended to heaven in the resurrection, and he said he would come again. When He comes again, He says He will come as He ascended into heaven. So does that mean He will come in the form of a resurrected spirit? Or does it mean that He will come in another resurrection and ascension to reveal His glory?

Those who pierced Yehoshua also testified that they would see Yehoshua when Yehoshua came in the clouds. Therefore, to understand this meaning, we have to look at the death of Yehoshua, who came 2,000 years ago.

[John 19:33~37] But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water....(37)and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one they have pierced."

When Yehoshua died on the cross, the soldiers pierced his side with spears. However, the Bible testifies that this is the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Bible. The Old Testament prophesies that the one who pierced him will see him. Therefore, the content of Revelation 1 shows Yehoshua's suffering. However, this does not mean that Yehoshua will die again, but that the two witnesses who have received the Holy Spirit of Yehoshua will be pierced. Two witnesses who have received the Holy Spirit of Yehoshua are stabbed to death while fighting a false church.

[Revelation 11:7] Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

The two witnesses who were killed are resurrected three and a half days later and ascend into heaven, and they testify that they ascended on clouds, referring to the ascension. Thus, the clouds are a metaphorical record of the ascension after the resurrection. He who pierces the two witnesses will see Jesus in the two witnesses.

[Zechariah 12:10~11] "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.

[Matthew 24:30] Then a sign will appear in the sky. And there will be the Son of Man. All nations on earth will weep when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

So the coming in the clouds is a prophecy of the resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses. When the two witnesses ascend into heaven, the one who pierced them will see them. And all the nations will see the glory of God and wail.
