In the Bible, there are two worlds: the physical world we live in, and the spiritual (church) world that progresses through Joshua. In the physical world we see, there are heaven, earth, sea, sun, moon, and stars, and there are animals, trees, and people. Likewise, all of these exist in the Church, which was created as a spiritual world. The six days of creation that God created did not show the actual creation, but the creation of the church. The Bible tells us that God brings plagues to the world he created, but the seven trumpets foretold in Revelation are not physical plagues, but spiritual plagues that fall on the church.  Of course, there are various plagues in the visible world, such as wars, earthquakes, and famines, but the seven trumpets and seven plagues of Revelation are not physical plagues, but spiritual plagues that come upon the churches.

So what plagues do the seven trumpets speak of? To know the secret of the seven trumpets, we must first study the Old Testament. The history of Israel recorded in the Old Testament was written as a type and shadow of what would happen to spiritual Israel.

The seven trumpets in Revelation are the fulfillment of a prophecy that took place during Joshua's capture of Jericho in the days of Moses. After being freed from Egypt, Israel arrived in Jericho after their time in the wilderness. Jericho was a fortress that kept them out of the land of Canaan. Therefore, in order to enter the land of Canaan, the walls of Jericho had to be destroyed. God told them how to destroy the city of Jericho.

[Joshua 6:2~5] Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams' horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in."

God said that in order to destroy Jericho, the trumpets would have to be blown for a long time: seven priests would blow seven trumpets, and Jericho would fall. From the first to the sixth day, they were to go around Jericho and blow the trumpets only once a day. But on the seventh day, you must go around seven times and blow the trumpets with a loud noise with all the people. He said that if you do that, Jericho will fall. So Israel, led by the priests, blew the trumpets only once a day from the first to the sixth day. And on the seventh day, they went around seven times and blew the trumpets.

[Joshua 6:8~20] When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the LORD went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the LORD's covenant followed them. The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark. All this time the trumpets were sounding....(15)On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times....(20) When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so every man charged straight in, and they took the city.

However, the prophecy of Jericho does not end with the history of the Old Testament alone. This was a prophecy that would be fulfilled before entering the kingdom of God represented by the heavenly Canaan. As prophesied that Jericho would fall, God had the seven angels sound the seven trumpets. However, each time the trumpet was blown, disaster struck, but the people did not repent.

[Revelation 9:20] The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood--idols that cannot see or hear or walk.

So God gave the Holy Spirit to the two prophets to fight against the church, but they were killed. Like Joshua, they were resurrected and ascended into heaven, and many who saw them repented and glorified God.

[Revelation 11:10~12] The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

Immediately after the death of the two witnesses, the seventh and final trumpet sounds. With this, the Holy Spirit of God comes upon the saints, the kingdom ruled by Satan is overthrown, and the Kingdom of God is established.

[Revelation 11:15] The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

Therefore, the seven trumpets in Revelation are not an actual plague, but rather a prophecy of the destruction of a certain church, symbolized by Jericho, which can be briefly summarized as follows.

1. On the first day, the seven priests blew the trumpets. The Israelites went around Jericho once -> The first angel blew the trumpet, and the first plague came.

2. On the second day, the seven priests blew their trumpets. The Israelites went around Jericho once. -> The second angel blew his trumpet, and the second plague fell.

3. from the third to the sixth, seven priests blew trumpets. The Israelites circled Jericho once a day. -> The third through sixth angels blew their trumpets in turn. The third through sixth plagues fell one after the other.

4. On the seventh day, the Israelites went around Jericho seven times. When the seven priests blew their trumpets and the people shouted, the walls of Jericho fell. -> When the two witnesses died, people realized they were God's prophets. The seventh angel blew his trumpet. Afterward, the Kingdom of God was established and one church that represented Jericho was destroyed.

Therefore, the seven trumpets in Revelation do not represent an actual plague, but rather the destruction of Jericho in the Old Testament. This is a prophecy of the destruction of a specific church, represented by Jericho, by two witnesses. Therefore, the seven trumpets are spiritual plagues that fall on the church represented by Jericho.
