The earthly temple was created as a model and a shadow of the heavenly temple. However, the heavenly temple that the Bible testifies to refers to Yehoshua and the saints who have received the Holy Spirit of Yehoshua.

[John 2:21~22] But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

[1 Corinthians 3:16~17] All of you surely know that you are God's temple and that his Spirit lives in you. Together you are God's holy temple, and God will destroy anyone who destroys his temple.

The earthly temple had a basin of water where the priests could wash their hands and feet, an altar where they could sacrifice animals and burnt offerings to atone for their sins, and a tabernacle that was made of buildings. It had seven candlesticks and a table of showbread, and the entrance to the Holy of Holies was blocked by a veil. Inside the Holy of Holies was the Ark of the Covenant, which contained Aaron's budded rod, a jar of manna, and the two stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. Above the Ark of the Covenant were two angels surrounding it, all of which are types and shadows of the heavenly temple.

[Hebrews 9:1~5] Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary. A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand, the table and the consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place. Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place, which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.

So, here's what the various ritual tools and objects in the earthly temple actually looked like..

1) Watering hole -> refers to the clear water (God's word) that is sprinkled on God's people before entering heaven.

2) Animals sacrificed for the sins of the people -> Symbolizes Christ who will be sacrificed for the forgiveness of sins of the people

3) Altar of burnt offering -> symbolizes Christ's sacrifice on the cross

4) Seven candlesticks -> It means that the saints who have received the Holy Spirit become priests and light the fire of truth.

55) Table of Showbread -> When the Holy Spirit of Joshua, the Bread of Life, comes upon the saints, the Word of God is transmitted; therefore, the table represents the Word of God.

6) The veil -> represents the body of Joshua. After being pierced by a spear, Joshua's resurrection revealed that you are the substance of God.

7) Aaron's rod that budded -> A sign indicating who God's chosen priest is.

8) Manna jar -> It means that the Holy Spirit will come upon the high priest when he enters the Most Holy.

9) Golden Incense Burner -> Prayers of the saints. It means that you can enter the most holy place in heaven through earnest prayer of repentance.

10) High Priest -> Symbolizes Yehoshua who entered the Most Holy through the Resurrection and Ascension

11) Breastplate of Judgment -> Symbolizes the 12 apostles who will judge Israel

12) Urim and Thummim -> Symbolizes Yehoshua

13) High priest's robes -> It means the good deeds of the saints who receive the Holy Spirit to purify their hearts and do good deeds

The various articles of the earthly temple foreshadowed the substance of the heavenly temple, Joshua and the saints who received Joshua's Holy Spirit, as did the two angels guarding the ark of the covenant. They foreshadowed the two witnesses who would appear at the end of time.

[Revelation 11:3~4] My two witnesses will wear sackcloth, while I let them preach for one thousand two hundred sixty days. These two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand in the presence of the Lord who rules the earth.

After the two witnesses were killed, they were resurrected and ascended into heaven. But this was to show that they had entered the heavenly holy of holies, where the ark of the covenant was.

[Revelation 11:12] Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

When the two witnesses enter the most holy place in heaven, manna (the Holy Spirit) comes down from heaven, and the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom (temple) of God, and the era in which Yehoshua reigns begins.

[Revelation 11:15] At the sound of the seventh trumpet, loud voices were heard in heaven. They said, "Now the kingdom of this world belongs to our Lord and to his Chosen One! And he will rule forever and ever!"

Thus, the two angels of the ark of the covenant foretold the two witnesses who entered the heavenly holy of holies.
