Hanpimo Announces to Citizens:
Hanpimo has been sharing a message titled “A Message to the Citizens” for the past two weeks.
This message outlines 11 points summarizing immoral actions and unbiblical teachings of the Church of God. The third point reads as follows:
3.
Ahn Sahng-hong, born in December 1917, married a woman named Hwang ○○ and had children with her. In 1964, he founded the Church of God. Later, in 1978, a woman named Um ○○ proclaimed him as the Second Coming of Jesus. He then operated within the church as "God" until his death from a stroke in 1985.
Response from a Church of God Online Evangelist:
Yesterday evening, a Church of God internet evangelist addressed the third point with the following statement:
"Not only Ahn Sahng-hong but also Zahng Gil-jah bore children and lived according to the command to ‘be fruitful and multiply.’ What’s the issue with that?"
However, the command “be fruitful and multiply” was not a blessing exclusive to humans; it was also given to animals. Therefore, whether Ahn Sahng-hong and Zahng Gil-jah lived in a way befitting humans or merely followed animalistic instincts requires deeper analysis.
[Genesis 1:22]
"God blessed them and said, 'Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.’"
The Bible compares those who lack understanding and act wickedly to “irrational beasts.” Teaching doctrines that encourage fraud through doomsday predictions, promoting divorce and abandonment, and destroying families is no different from behaving like beasts wearing a human facade.
Even Jesus referred to people like Ahn Sahng-hong and Zahng Gil-jah as “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” If they were truly God or His children, they would not have engaged in evil behaviors characteristic of beasts.
Criticism of Their Behavior:
It can be concluded that Ahn Sahng-hong and Zahng Gil-jah did not live according to the blessings given to humans but rather acted on instincts given to beasts. This is evident in acts such as ignoring God’s command “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife” and secretly marrying Zahng Gil-jah, who was the wife of a senior deacon in their church.
Regardless of claims of spiritual marriage, their actions clearly reflect beastly instincts when evaluated against Scripture.
Invitation to Debate:
We base our critique of the Church of God on the Bible and logical reasoning. However, the Church of God retaliates with accusations grounded in their own misunderstanding of their doctrines.
If any Church of God pastor or believer is confident, we challenge them to engage in a biblical discussion.
[2 Peter 2:12]
"But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish."
