As already explained, the history of physical Israel from David is prophesying the history of spiritual Israel from Jesus, who sits on David's throne, of which about 450 years of history from 450 BC to Jesus was thoroughly sealed through Daniel. Because God used parables through Daniel to record the history of Israel that would take place after their liberation from Babylon, we cannot know the history of physical Israel, as well as the history of spiritual Israel, without our interpretation. In the book of Daniel, there are two little horns that are described as Satan, the first one in chapter 7 appears in the middle of the ten nations of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, and the second one in chapter 8 appears after the division of Persia, Greece, and Greece into four nations, and the time of the second little horn is said to be the time of the end. Therefore, to know the identity of the second little horn is to know the reality of the second Satan, which appears after Babylon, and the Bible writes about it as follows.

[Daniel 8:8~24] The goat became very great, but at the height of his power his large horn was broken off, and in its place four prominent horns grew up toward the four winds of heaven.Out of one of them came another horn, which started small but grew in power to the south and to the east and toward the Beautiful Land....(11) It set itself up to be as great as the Prince of the host; it took away the daily sacrifice from him, and the place of his sanctuary was brought low. ...(21)The shaggy goat is the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes is the first king. The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the same power. "In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a stern-faced king, a master of intrigue, will arise. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the mighty men and the holy people.

After being destroyed by the Babylonians in 606 BC, Israel was taken to Babylon and held captive for 70 years before being liberated by Persia in 537 BC and returning to their homeland. However, it never achieved independence and was ruled by Persia and later by Alexander of Greece until 333 BC. After Alexander, each country was ruled by four generals under Alexander: Antigonus in Macedonia, Seleucus in Syria, Lysimachus in Asia Minor, and the Ptolemaic dynasty in Egypt. The Lysimachus dynasty in Asia Minor was then destroyed by the Seleucid dynasty in Syria. The Jewish people would be ruled first by the Ptolemaic dynasty of Egypt (323 BC - 198 BC) and then by King Antiochus IV Epiphanes of the Seleucid dynasty of Syria (198 BC - 167 BC). This king enforced strong Hellenistic policies in all the kingdom's colonies, forcing them to worship Greek gods and punishing those who worshiped other gods with death. They also forbade the observance of circumcision, the Sabbath, and the feasts, and even set up idols of Zeus and various Hellenic deities in their temples, and practiced the abomination of sacrificing pigs by sprinkling the temple with pig blood, which the Jews hated. And they slaughtered the Jews for no reason, and all of these things are recorded in Daniel 8 through 11.

[Daniel 11:31~33] "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him. "Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered.

In Daniel 11, a long battle between the king of the north and the king of the south is prophesied, with the king of the north referring to the Seleucid dynasty of Syria, which ruled the north, and the king of the south referring to the Ptolemaic dynasty, which ruled Egypt. And the war in Syria, which they fought at various times from 274 BC to 168 BC, was prophesied in the book of Daniel, chapter 11, which we can see in world history.

In Daniel 8, the second little horn, likened to Satan, is prophesied to appear at the end of the four dynasties that were established after Alexander and will rise up against God and kill his people, all of which became vassals of Rome around 160 BC. Thus, the second little horn, likened to Satan, foretold Antiochus IV, who came to power in 170 B.C. and tormented Israel, and God testified that the time of the appearance of the second little horn was the end times.

[Daniel 12:1~4] At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered....(4) But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."

The history of Israel as sealed through Daniel refers to the first little horn (Catholic) that appears after the ten nations of Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and Rome prophesied in Daniel 7, and the second little horn (Antiochus IV) that appears after the four nations that split from Persia, Greece, and Greece prophesied in Daniel 8. The Catholic Church, represented by the first little horn, is fulfilling the prophecy of spiritual Babylon as seen through the history of spiritual Israel beginning with Jesus, which can be seen in Part 3 of The Reality of Satan. Thus, the history of spiritual Israel after the time of spiritual Babylon (Catholicism) can be seen through the history of physical Israel prophesied in Daniel 8, which also reveals the reality of Satan's second appearance.
