They say that the bear does the work and the master gets the money, and that's certainly true of the Church of God.  If you were to ask who actually owns the Church of God, most members would say they do. But they have no authority to spend or disburse church funds, no authority to rebuke or discipline members, and are merely the audience clapping and cheering to Pastor Jucheol Kim's music.

So is Jang Gil-jah the master of the Church of God? The members of the Church of God marvel at Jang Gil-jah's words, just as the audience marvels at the bear's tricks. From this, we can see that Mr. Jang is not the owner of the church, but rather the bear. The Church of God's bylaws make it clear exactly who is the bear and who is the master. According to the Articles of Incorporation, Kim is appointed as the permanent president of the Church of God to manage and administer all of its finances, and is the supreme decision-maker in doctrinal pronouncements, personnel management, and discipline of members. However, no permissions have been given to Mr. Jang Gilja.

Thus, Jang Gil-jah is playing the role of the bear, Kim Joo-cheol is playing the role of the owner, and the believers are playing the role of the audience. Just as the person who profits from a crime is the perpetrator and culprit, the Church of God, which was created for religious fraud, is led by Kim Joo-cheol, who profits the most.

Article 28 (President)

1.The President of the General Assembly shall be Mr. Joo-cheol Kim, appointed by Heavenly Father Ahnsahnghong, and his term of office shall be for life.
