When the protests of the Church of God victims group exposed the true nature of the Church of God, its members were outraged. After years of promoting themselves as a good church, they were upset that it was suddenly revealed to be a cult. Some members stomped on protest banners and destroyed them.

But that day's incident was different from the previous ones. A 20-centimeter kitchen knife was in the hands of a female churchgoer as she walked out of the church. The same knife was found in the hands of a member of the congregation.
