Since the end of 2013, the protests of the Church of God victims have been going on non-stop and not a single day has gone by. As a result, many members realized the true nature of the church and left. Their protests were held in public squares, churches, and intersections.

The incident in question took place at Sujin Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do. Two members of the victims' organization organized a demonstration to inform people exiting the station about the reality of the Church of God. The police had set up a safety cordon to protect them, and 50 police officers were on hand in case of an incident. As they were setting up the banners for the demonstration, dozens of female members of the Church of God showed up with toy water guns, spraying water at the protesters and the police, which turned out to be black. It turned out they were spraying black paint.

The protesters' clothes, banners, and uniforms were covered in black paint, and some even tore banners beyond the safety line. While being arrested, they were told not to blaspheme the Long Life Mother. About five believers were arrested that day.

Citizens condemned their behavior and demanded that they leave Seongnam City, where they live.

Soon there were about 200 devotees on the scene. The devotees looked ready to riot. The nervous police requested 300 additional officers and 10 more police buses were deployed. Feeling outnumbered, the devotees voluntarily dispersed and the situation ended. Without the additional police force, a riot would have broken out. MBC news cameras were filming the scene.
