Testimony Submission Guidelines for Filing a Complaint Against the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG)

Below is a suggested template for your testimony, along with an outline of the legal charges. You may also add any additional details you wish to include. Since all WMSCOG members were systematically taught similar doctrines, the testimonies are expected to be fairly consistent. We encourage your active participation. Once testimonies are gathered, we will proceed with submitting the complaint. The complaint will be prepared by tomorrow.

1. Fraud: Article 347 of the Criminal Act

I, the undersigned, joined the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) in [Month, Year] at [Location] and left in [Month, Year]. The WMSCOG worships Ahn Sahng-hong as "God the Father" and Jang Gil-ja as "God the Mother."

After joining, I was taught by my pastor that Ahn Sahng-hong was baptized in 1948 at the age of 30, coinciding with Israel's independence, and that he preached the gospel for 37 years to complete the ministry that Jesus was unable to finish before ascending to heaven in 1985.

I was told that this fulfilled King David's prophecy: just as David began his reign at the age of 30 and ruled for 40 years, Jesus was baptized at 30 and preached for 3 years before being crucified at 33. The pastor explained that the remaining 37 years of ministry required the Second Coming Christ to appear in the flesh, and they claimed that Ahn Sahng-hong fulfilled this prophecy, being baptized in 1948 at the age of 30.

This teaching deeply impacted me, as the prophecy seemed perfectly aligned, leading me to believe in Ahn Sahng-hong as the Second Coming Christ. This belief was reinforced not only by my pastor but also by General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol and Jang Gil-ja, who is revered as "God the Mother." I heard the same teachings from them and from other pastors who followed their guidance. Through these teachings, I came to firmly believe that Ahn Sahng-hong was the Second Coming Christ and the spiritual Melchizedek.

The WMSCOG used Genesis 14, where Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything, to teach that members must give tithes to Ahn Sahng-hong as the embodiment of Melchizedek. They claimed that tithes and offerings in Protestant churches were not truly given to God and warned that those who failed to tithe would be cursed. Out of fear and belief in Ahn Sahng-hong, I gave tithes, worship offerings, special offerings, and various other contributions.

However, in [Month, Year], I discovered that Ahn Sahng-hong was not baptized in 1948 as claimed. Instead, I found records showing he was baptized in 1954 by Pastor Kim Seok-young of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Haeundae, Busan. This revelation came as a great shock. The WMSCOG had falsely claimed that Ahn Sahng-hong was baptized in 1948 by Pastor Lee Myung-deok of the Incheon Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Upon learning the truth, I felt utterly deceived. I realized that I had believed in Ahn Sahng-hong as the Second Coming Christ and given tithes and offerings based on these false teachings. The church used fear, claiming I would be cursed if I did not give, to compel me and others to comply.

I respectfully request that law enforcement thoroughly investigate the fraudulent and extortionate practices of the WMSCOG, its leaders Kim Joo-cheol and Jang Gil-ja, and their associates.
